Joy With Food November Circle (Encinitas, CA) (Copy)

Are you ready to transform your relationship with food and motherhood? I invite you to our next in-person Joy With Food Circle—an immersive, supportive, and transformative experience that brings us together in a sacred, warm, and loving space.

What to Expect:

For nearly a decade, I’ve guided women and mothers from all over the world online, and now, I’m bringing this beloved practice back into the home— where it all began in 2010 in living rooms all over NYC. We will sit together, in community, exploring food in a way that feels nourishing, joyful, and practical.

As mothers, food can feel like a burden. Managing family meals, dealing with overwhelm, or navigating personal struggles around eating can often feel endless and difficult. But what if it could feel different? The question we're leaning into, as we hold all the pieces of doing motherhood and food, is "How Good Can It Feel?"

This Workshop Will:

  • Help you reconnect with food in a joyful, holistic, and mindful way

  • Guide you through the most impactful exercises I use with clients

  • Offer meaningful conversations that will shift your mindset and help manage food with ease

  • Provide a space for in-person connection, where we will support each other as mothers and women

Whether you're struggling with food or simply seeking a more peaceful relationship with it for you or a family member, this workshop is for you. You’ll leave with fresh insights, practical strategies, and a sense of calm around food that you can bring into your everyday life.

This month:

We’re getting into one of my favorite topics: Cyclical Living as it relates to your experience with food and family food! I’m sharing biological, seasonal, and time-tested wisdom with you and we’re applying it, practically, to your day-to-day life. It brings so much more connection and ease to food!!

Why Attend?

Food is an everyday experience, and my goal is to help you make it feel SO GOOD. Together, we’ll explore new and joyful ways to connect with food, yourself, and each other. There's nothing like gathering in person, where the sensory and relational aspects of food come alive.

After 14 years of supporting women as a holistic health practitioner and eating psychology coach, I know the power of community and intentional conversations. Let’s bring joy back into our food experience, for ourselves and our families.

We’ll get into topics like…

  • Prioritizing your own food needs

  • Navigating the sea of health information out there

  • Supporting a picky eater

  • How to talk about sugar & sweets

  • Food prep & planning

  • Ideas for what to cook

  • And loads more

Cost: $50
Limit: 10 participants
Register here

Light food and drink provided.

If you’re in the San Diego or SoCal area and want to experience a profound shift in your relationship with food, I’d love to have you in this intimate gathering. Let’s explore how good it can feel together! 💕

Let's Talk About Sugar

  • Google Calendar ICS

Join me on Zoom for this 3-part workshop series all about sugar and sweet!

Tuesday, September 24th @11am Pacific

Wednesday, September 25th @11am Pacific

Thursday September 26th @11am Pacific

Oh this topic is a biggy and we can often feel like we’re ping ponging between being the Sugar Police to letting it be a free for all to trying on a new script to embracing all the sugar because it’s “normal for kids” to going down the rabbit hole of learning all the data about sugar… and on and on!! It’s exhausting and completely without joy.

This topic is important. I’ll never say it doesn’t matter.

But I know, based on my own experience and supporting hundreds of women and mothers around the world, that you can come into a much more peaceful, easeful, confident, and joyful relationship with sugar for yourself and as a model to your children.

We’re giving ourselves time and space to dive into this important topic together over three days for 60 minutes each.

Walk away each day with greater clarity, understanding, and confidence.

Coffee and Coaching is your time to get support, on the spot, for your unique needs.

If you have a Picky Eater, food can feel extra challenging in the home. It’s one of the top 5 struggles I hear so let’s get into it!

  • How does picky eating show up in your house and how does it impact everyone?

  • How can you support your child in trying new foods?

  • What language can you use that might encourage more openness?

  • What tweaks can you make in your kitchen to make additional foods more inviting?

  • What comes up for you when dealing with your picky eater?

Your family is unique. This is why we coming together, in a group, to talk about Picky Eating is key! You’ll get support by hearing stories of other families and I’ll get to support you as well.

October Coffee & Coaching: Halloween Candy & Sweets

Coffee and Coaching is your time to get support, on the spot, for your unique needs.

Halloween is coming! Let's get you in a great spot for navigating the candy conversation and not just for Trick or Treating; it applies to sweets, in general.

  • How do you talk about candy and sweets in a way that supports raising kiddos who have a strong and confident relationship with food?

  • How do we learn how to listen to our bodies?

  • If you’ve struggled in your relationship with sweets, how do you best support your kids?

  • What are some of the things you can do and say to support tuning in with the body and having enough in a way that doesn't feel like harsh rules?

  • What happens the day after Halloween?

  • Is there a middle ground between "go all-in" and "you can keep 5 pieces" that feels good to you?

Let's figure that out.

Your family is unique.

I'm here for you!

September Coffee & Coaching: Food Planning & Prep

Let’s get into all things Food Planning & Prep for your family!

Coffee and Coaching is your time to get support, on the spot, for your unique needs.

If you’ve tried menu planning or meal prep systems in the past with all the hope in the world the system would be the holy grail for easing the mental load around food for you and your family… and you’re still frustrated and feeling like food is such a chore, it’s not you! These systems are well-meaning, but can’t take in all the unique needs you and your family have around food.

And you know what? It’s possible you don’t even know some of those needs yourself because we aren’t taught to ask the right questions when it comes to food. That’s what I’m here to help you with.

A system for food needs to optimize many different factors for it to work. Nothing is forever. Let’s get clear on what really matters for you right now and what you can put aside.

Register at the link below and add this event to your calendar right now so you don’t miss it!

Note: I don’t record these sessions. They are for you, in real-time.

Coffee & Coaching: Cyclical Living

Bring your questions, challenges, and curiosity about Cyclical Living and how it relates to your relationship with food.

One of the simplest, most efficient ways to have your days flow (instead of feeling like you’re pushing a boulder up a mountain) is by embracing cyclical living. We’re talking food, work, sex, relationships, parenting, all of it! You are a cyclical being and when you live your life that way, you’ll flow with greater ease and enjoyment.

We’re conditioned to produce and be ON all the time, yet we know it doesn’t work. It leads us to diet after diet, cleanse and after cleanse. We live based on expectations that have nothing to do with how we actually operate.

When you learn how to listen to your body, your cravings make more sense, you know how to nourish yourself, and you don’t move from restriction to disappointment over and over.

Foundations for Food Freedom Workshop

This is where you start. The Foundations workshop is a program like nothing else out there.

Most approaches for mothers are either 1) all about YOU and forgetting that you have food to manage for others as well or 2) focused entirely on the kids, making more work for you, but leaving you out of the picture.

It’s time we take an integrated and connected approach to healing your relationship with food alongside your family.

All the details and to sign up here!

Can’t wait to support you.

Inner Circle: Unpacking Your Food Rules

MONTHLY GATHERING (FREE)

Every month we gather (over Zoom!) so you feel the support of mothers around the world shifting the way they’ve always done food and rewriting the story for the next generation.

  1. The Guide to Easier Family Eating

  2. Weekly emails with paradigm-shifting guidance and easy-to-implement tips

UNPACKING YOUR FOOD RULES

Food Rules serve a purpose— they are once there to guide us and give us an understanding of the choices available. Where most of us get derailed, though, is in not knowing how to figure out what fits.

“What should I eat?” is the #1 question I’ve gotten since becoming a Holistic Health Coach and implies there’s a right way to do this whole food thing.

For decades, I was so focused on WHAT to eat. It often felt obsessive, but it also felt like something I could control whether I was restricting myself or binging/purging. The diet gave me rules to follow and a sense of order.

When we become parents, the dilemma of "What should I eat?" becomes "What should I feed my kid?" If you search "feeding kids" on Amazon, you get over 10K results. So now we're frustrated and stressed about our own food and responsible for managing it for others. It's too hard.

It's time to learn how to tune into you, trust your body, trust your child, and release a strong grip on controlling all things food. This is where the healing begins. Food is so basic and so fundamental to who you are. It's time to get back to how simple and joyful food can be.

Now I see through the rules. Now I trust myself on a new level and that starts with asking questions beyond WHAT.

There's no magic WHAT to eat-- for you or your child. It will change based on tons of factors like time of day, the season, phase of the menstrual cycle, how you or your kiddo is doing emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually, where you live, individual composition, ancestry, and several others. Always asking for THE WHAT is exactly what keeps us spinning\

Join the November Inner Circle as digging deep into all things FOOD RULES. The rules have value, no doubt. We need to look at your specific rules. Where do they come from for you? Which ones are true and which can you let go of? How can you redesign your food system in your house with new rules?

Bring your rules and your questions!

What are your cravings trying to tell you?

Well, you’ve been lead to believe that your cravings are a sign of weakness, something to ignore, a lack of willpower, having not found the right diet, falling off the wagon, being too tempted, and on and on. None of these are true.

Your body never lies. The messages you’re getting are important to listen to! Where we’ve gotten derailed a bit is our response to the message. We need to dig deeper to understand why you want airy and crispy foods when you’re angry, frustrated, or bored or why you crave creamy foods when you’re feeling sad or lonely. There’s great wisdom here and we’ll dig into it all so you can begin to rewrite that story and heal.

We can’t support our kiddos in a positive relationship with food if we don’t know how to listen to the messages.
