Hey, I’m Deena.

Welcome to my Everything Page!

A little about me: I’ve been a holistic and integrative health coach for 14 years supporting families around the world on a variety of topics (weight loss, autoimmune conditions, pre-conception nutrition, first foods…)! When I started out, I was focused primarily on diet and nutrition with some lifestyle bits sprinkled in. Over the years, I learned how different we all are, how our stories impact how we experience everything in life, including food. Today my work is focused on helping you and your children coming into a confident, embodied, and joyful relationship with food.

My work is at the intersection of connected parenting, self-directed learning, food psychology, time-tested nutritional wisdom, and cyclical living.

You can read more about my story here.

This page is dedicated to all of the wonderful ways I can support you, some free and some paid.

Free Resources:

  1. The Snack Hack System: Mom can you make me a snack?” “Can I have... can I have... can I have...?” “Mom, I’m hungry!”

It can feel relentless at times! That’s why I created the Snack Hack System, a simple and beautiful way for everyone in the family to positively connect with food and their bodies. Snacks can also be a more accessible path than mealtimes when it comes to inviting a new tone around food and involving your kids.

Grab this 2-page PDF Guide support with all the common snack questions, including our go-to snacks!

  2. Join my email list: I send out weekly Joyful Food Digest emails with practical and inspiring resources for you to cultivate a joyful and confident experience with food. Get on the list here.

  3. Follow along on Instagram: Honestly, there are a few mini courses right in my Instagram feed! I know it feels like we need new information all the time, but we really don’t. Go through the highlights, check out Instagram Lives I’ve done solo or with some incredible parenting / homeschooling accounts, watch the reels, swipe through the carousels, and read the captions. Follow along here.

  4. Listen to podcasts I’ve been on. I’ve had the absolute honor of being a guest on some fantastic wellness, parenting, and homeschooling podcasts. You can search my name in your podcast app or click here to see the list that I update regularly. Take me on a walk or drive and happy listening!

It’s time to coexist with it in a way that feels good. Access Let’s Talk About Sugar here today!

  2. The Joyful Family Meal. This is a self-paced video workshop and corresponding guide to support an inviting and joyful mealtime for everyone in your family. You don’t need to be the martyr at mealtime! I want you to sit down to your meal and be able to chew and enjoy your food. 3. Ask Me Anything Sessions. 90 minutes on Zoom with me to, well, ask me anything about your relationship with food, a picky eater, how to help your kids find more autonomy in the kitchen, navigating conflicting nutritional advice, or asking any additional questions from a self-paced workshop! This is a great option if you’re not looking for an ongoing coaching relationship but just have a list of questions or one topic you want to dive into. Book your AMA Session right here.

  4. Private coaching packages. This is the most intimate way to work with me. We do 6 sessions of coaching with tons of support between sessions because I know it only just begins when you end the Zoom meeting! I’m in it with you for three months and only take on three coaching clients at a time. Check out the details and sign up for 20-minute consult if this sounds like something you’d like to explore.

  5. My favorites. One of my favorite things is recommending products and services that have had a major impact for me. I want to shout from the rooftops! Check out some of my favorite programs and products right here. I have personal experience with each of these and have invested in most of them myself.

  6. Kids In The Kitchen Program. Creating an inviting environment for kids in the kitchen is the best way for them to cultivate their own positive relationship with food (and for you to have less work to do!). Knowing how to cook is a really important life skill and children are capable of this way earlier than our culture leads us to believe. Add your name to the KITK Interest List here so you’re the first to know about it (and get a discount) when it runs again!

  7. Joy With Food Group Coaching Program. There’s nothing like gathering with like-minded others on a topic and the sacred and tight container we hold in Joy With Food is a beautiful experience. This 8-week program guides you, step by step, in bringing more joy into your relationship with food and family food. Read all about it here and add your name to the waitlist for the next round. We cap enrollment of this program at 20 to keep a sacred and intimate experience for the group, so be sure to add your name to the interest list (and get an early bird discount if you sign up!) here.

  8. Cyclical and Seasonal Living & Family Food Program. Cyclical Living (syncing aspects of your life to your menstrual cycle and/or the moon cycle) came into my life when I read Alissa Vitti’s book, Woman Code, in 2013. Since then I’ve synced my business activities, marriage conversations, parenting tasks, social events, and all things food to my cycle. And yes, even in perimenopause. Combine that with the wisdom of the seasons and say Goodbye to pushing a boulder up a hill and Hello to ease and flow when it comes to all things food. I’m creating this program right now. Add your name to the Interest List here so you’re the first to know about it (and get a discount!) as soon as it launches.
