After 20 years of optimizing my own health and over a decade of supporting people around the world to feel their best, I’ve observed that it’s often the simplest things that are the biggest game-changers. We like to overcomplicate things (me, included)! The way we eat and how we look at food should be simple, but we’ve messed with it so much. It wasn’t until I learned the basic steps of intuitive and mindful eating, that I saw the answers were there all along. This is why I created The Mindful Eating Challenge! With the support of my step-by-step guidance, gentle reminders, and a community in the same boat, you’ll see that you have this within you as well. I hope you’ll join so you can see the true potential of embracing this age-old practice to feel infinitely better.
Mindful Eating is all about gaining awareness of your eating experience.
The Ripple Effect
Mindful Eating is like the little bubble in this image. It seems insignificant at first and then you’re surprised by the far-reaching impact it has. Think of each ring of water as an area of your life that will be impacted: Stress, focus, sleep, digestion, energy, productivity, and more. It’s incredible how something so simple (and free!) can be so supportive.
And the best of all, you’re already eating. We are just significantly enhancing what you’re already doing.
Mindful Eating truly is Step One to feeling:
Joyful, connected, and positive in your relationship with food
Greater sense of control when it comes to food
More relaxed
Increased energy
Improved digestion
Confident you can make choices right for your unique body
Satiated after eating
Assured that you are modeling a healthy connection to food for your children
Our modern culture is all about fitting as much as possible into the least amount of time as possible and, as a result, we often treat eating (and all things around food) as an interruption. The thing is our bodies have not caught up with the way we live today! When we eat in a rush, on the run, distracted, and without love for and connection to food, we experience impaired digestion and absorption, poor sleep, low energy, and we are teaching our children a model that makes it quite hard for them to have a strong and embodied relationship with food.
