This is for you if:
You’re ready to spend less time worrying about what your kids eat and more time enjoying all things family food!
You’re overwhelmed (and maybe even a little resentful) by the constant meal and snack prep.
You believe knowing how to prepare and cook food are essential life skills but don’t quite know how to support your kids to get there.
You want your kitchen to feel inspiring, inviting, and special to everyone in your home.
The most joyful, confidence-building, connected way for the next generation to cultivate a positive relationship with food, their bodies, and their health is by getting into the kitchen.
KITK provides you with:
A step-by-step system: guiding you gently as you bring your kids into the kitchen without totally stressing you out. We’ll spend one week on each of these 4 themes:
Safety: Sharps, heat, and items out of reach will be the focus here. You’ll have the mindset, kitchen set-up, and language to feel confident with the risks involved.
Mess and Waste: Mitigating mess and waste, the tools to have accessible, and the boundaries to have in place so your values and sanity are upheld.
Time: It’s your most valuable commodity. The time spent in the kitchen should be worthwhile and optimized given your rhythm, schedules, needs, and capacity.
Elevating the Experience: All the joy, play, and pleasure!! This matters and I’ll be sharing my favorite ways to make this inviting for everyone.
Recommended products: my favorite kitchen tools to introduce at any age/stage to cultivate a positive, embodied, and confident relationship with food for the long term.
Simple language: what to say to your kid/s so you can hold boundaries while keeping the experience inviting for everyone.
How-tos: organizing your snacks, fridge, kitchen tools, and cleaning items to optimize access and participation for everyone.
Community: join parents on this same path trying to do things differently. Connecting with and hearing others’ experiences and questions is gold!
Q&A: multiple opportunities to ask questions so this works for your unique family.
Peace of mind: that your kid/s will find joy in nourishing themselves and you’ll experience the benefits of this before you know it.
Are you ready for the peace of mind and absolute joy that comes from seeing your kids engage in every step of the food process?
KITK is not:
A “swap this food for that food” protocol to support picky eaters.
A meal plan or recipes.
A nutritional program or prescriptive protocol in any way about THE WHAT of food.
We are working with what you currently have in your kitchen and making the entire experience more inviting for everyone. What we eat changes so many times in our lives and I’m here to help you set your kids up for success in THE HOW of food so they have these tools for the long-term.
