I believe that you are not a product of your individual body parts and systems, but rather a whole being that needs to be treated holistically.  A holistic approach to health and wellness means that I look at how all areas of your life are connected.  Does stress at your job or in your relationship cause you to overeat?  Are you unfulfilled in a certain area of life causing you to nourish yourself in other ways?  Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising?  As we work together, we look at how all parts of your life affect your health as a whole.

I am a wellness guide and supportive mentor. Through working with me, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of the foods and lifestyle choices that work best for you and implement lasting changes that will improve your energy, balance and health.


The concept of bio-individuality is that each person has her or his own food and lifestyle needs.  One person’s food is another person’s poison, which is why fad diets tend to fail in the long run.  Working on the principle of bio-individuality, I’ll support you in making positive changes that are based on your unique needs, lifestyle, personal preferences, and background.  Instead of prescribing one fix for all people, I use a personalized, holistic approach that is based on your needs.

My Coaching Style:

I am upbeat, excited and ready to guide you!  This is not a quick fix or fad diet that will promise you the world in just 7 jumpstart days.  I will not hand you the secret to health in our first meeting.  We will work together to come up with what works best for you.

We will get a lot done in our sessions!  We will talk about everything that you are comfortable sharing.  I will ask some tough questions and challenge some of what you know to be true.  This is in an effort to get you to think about your food and lifestyle differently and implement changes that will make you feel great in your body.

I am not judgmental.  I do not believe there is one right answer.  I also know that change takes time.  We will go at the pace that works best for you. After all, what good are my recommendations if they are difficult for you to implement?

What I will do is provide you with a map that shows how to navigate where you want to be and I will support you in getting you there—all in a way that works for you.  My main role is helping you figure out what gets in the way of your success and helping you remove those blockers.

My recommendations will come from several dietary approaches, nutritional sciences, traditional ways of eating, Eastern philosophies such as Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda, seeing what works with my clients, knowing what has worked for me and everything you tell me about you, your health and what is practical for you.
